At World's Fair Park
The Tennessee Amphitheater was constructed during the 1982 World’s Fair and during that time, it was home to both country music and classical music concerts.
"I absolutely LOVE this spot!!! This is a great spot to bring your family for a family friendly experience. And did I mention the best part of all, IT'S FREE!!! Also, another very fun thing to do is to go in the sunsphere. Happy times, happy day!!!"
The site of the Holston Treaty, Volunteer Landing was destined to become a waterfront destination that residents and visitors of Knoxville could enjoy daily.
Greater in size than two football fields, the Performance Lawn is a carefully maintained open area providing a natural amphitheater-like setting perfect for concerts, festivals, parties and other special events.
"1st time here, but I loved it! It's a beautiful spot to have a festival. We were here for the Bourbon, Beer, and BBQ festival. Will be back next year, and I will bring family and friends. Thanks Knoxville!"
